The Physical Education Department of the Goshen High School has named its Physical Education Students of the Month for June.

Students were nominated by their physical education teachers to receive this honor. Each student received a T-shirt.

“The Goshen High School Physical Education Department would like to wish all of our students a healthy, active and enjoyable summer vacation,” said Physical Education Teacher Mike Turi. “Good luck on your finals and Regents exams. Remember, a sound body facilitates a sound mind. See you in September!”

The Physical Education Students of the Month for May are Brian DePalma, nominated by Physical Education Teacher Gus Lawson for his participation in softball; Katie DePalma, nominated by Physical Education Teacher Joanne Reiser for her participation in softball; Zach Grieb, nominated by Physical Education Teacher John Russo for his participation in Frisbee; Megan Heal, nominated by Physical Education Teacher Mike Turi for her participation in softball; and Andrew McWatt, nominated by Physical Education Teacher Robert McIntee for his participation in Frisbee.
