Introduction to Computer Programming

Semester - 1/2 credit

In this course, students are introduced to basic procedural programming. Use of text editors, variables, loops, conditional statements and proper syntax and debugging skills are emphasized. Text processing using regular expressions and CGI scripting are taught later in the course as well as object oriented syntax.
