History: Advanced Placement
Grade 11 - Full
year - One credit
The Advanced
Placement course in United States History is
designed to provide students with the analytic
skills and factual knowledge necessary to deal
critically with the problems and materials in
American history. This course prepares students for
college-level academic work by making demands
equivalent to a full year introductory college
course. A.P. History is offered to students during
their junior year as it also prepares them to meet
social studies requirements for Goshen High School
and the New York State Regents.
