Psychology
Grade 12 (Grade 11
with department approval) - Semester - 1/2 credit
This one-semester
course will provide students with a basic overview
of psychology, help them develop greater insight
into human behavior, and gain a better understanding
of themselves and others. Core topics include
social, intellectual, and moral development; the
life span; personality theory; conditioning,
sensation and perception; and abnormal behavior.
Since participation is an important component of
this class, be prepared to take an active role in
discussions, activities, and simulations.
