Physics 01

Grade 12 - Full year - One credit

Regents Physics is a college preparatory physics course that closely follows the New York State core curriculum. The content includes such topics as forces, energy, electricity and magnetism, the gas laws, and atomic and nuclear theory. Students also perform a wide variety of laboratory activities that parallel the classroom topics. Students are encouraged to take the Physics Regents exam at the conclusion of this course. Due to the mathematical nature of this course, it is recommended that the student be currently enrolled in or successfully completed the Algebra 2/Trigonometry course in mathematics.
