Algebra 2 & Trig Grade
11 - Full year
- One credit
This is the third course of the New York State
mathematics curriculum. Mathematical concepts are
extended in the areas of rational expressions,
radical expressions, equations/inequalities dealing
with absolute values, transformations, geometry,
probability, and statistics. Also provided is the
study of complex numbers, relations and functions
including composition, inverse, exponential
functions, logarithmic functions, and the six
trigonometric functions. Graphing calculators will
be used throughout the year. Students will take the
Math-B Regents exam or the Algebra 2 & Trig Regents
exam upon completion of this course.
