Dear Parents/Guardians,
South American
countries celebrate “Posadas”. Posadas are parties in which
families and friends get together to taste different food.
Each family prepares a dish and brings it to the party so
everyone can enjoy it. We are going to have a posada in our
class. I will be the hostess and my students and their
parents/guardians will be my guests. I will bring “Flan”, a
special dessert that we prepare in Ecuador for all of us to
enjoy.
I would like
to invite you to come and celebrate the posada fiesta with
us. Please bring a dish for the students to eat in class. We
would also like to know how you prepare that dish and if it
represents something for your family or your culture.
If you would
like to be part of the posada fiesta please write your name
and the name of the dish you are planning to bring for the
students. Please follow your son/daughter’s schedule as a
guide for the date and arrival time to the school.
