Bush places second in country
in
National Bus Poster Contest (Back)
Lee Bush, a seventh
grade student at the C. J. Hooker Middle School in
Goshen, won second place in the country in the
Division III level of the National School Bus Safety
Poster Contest. This year’s theme was “Stop on Red –
Kid’s Ahead!”
In October, Bush won first place in the New York
State competition of the National School Bus Safety
Poster Contest. His winning poster was then entered
in the national contest, where he took second place
in the nation.
In honor of the theme, “Stop on Red – Kid’s Ahead,”
Bush drew the inside of a car with two hands on the
steering wheel. Outside the car, a school bus was
coming down the street with students crossing the
road.
