The members of the
Goshen Central School District’s Junior Math League
Team A beat seven other teams to win the section

The playoffs consisted of the four section (A, B, C
and D) champions as well as three other top teams.
The teams included Newburgh Team A, Newburgh Team B,
Minisink Team A, Goshen Team A, Pine Bush Team C,
Wallkill Team A and Fallsburgh Team A. Goshen Team A

main rounds to the competition with five team
members answering questions on a rotating basis.
During the sixth round, or relay round, students
answer questions together. Whoever receives the most
points wins the competition.
There are three Goshen teams: Team A, Team B and
Team C, made up of students in grades 6-9. The
members of Goshen Team A are eighth and ninth grade
students Nawsin Ahmed, Maaz Ahsan, Luka Djapic,
