Goshen
residents pass budget for 2009-10 school year

On May 19, the
residents of the Goshen Central School District
approved the $59,652,247 budget for
2009-10. This budget represents a 1.42 percent
spending increase over the current year’s budget –
the lowest spending increase in more than 20 years –
and would increase the tax levy by 3.95 percent. The results are:
YES: 1,655
NO: 670
District residents also elected three members to the
Board of Education for three-year terms. The results
