After a year on austerity, the Goshen Central School District worked diligently to create a budget for the 2005-06 school year with the lowest tax levy increase in more than five years. 

Community members passed the $48,744,712 budget on May 17, as well as the $777,224 bus purchase proposition, which will provide the district with six full-size buses, two wheelchair conversion buses, two van buses, and a service truck. Voters also approved the appointment of a non-voting student representative to the Board of Education.
