The Physical Education Department at Goshen Central High School has named its Physical Education Students of the Month for March.
Students were nominated by their physical education teachers to receive this honor. Each student received a T-shirt.
“These students understand the value and importance of physical education in their lives,” said Physical Education Teacher Mike Turi.
The Physical Education Students of the Month are Larissa Burak, grade 12 for her participation in floor hockey; Jimmy Kelly, grade 9, for personal training; Christine Pawlowicz, grade 12 for floor hockey; Ray Ortiz, grade 9 for Bigger, Faster, Strong Weight Training; and Harold Watson, grade 11, for World of Rope Jumping.
During the third quarter, physical education students will participate in a number of activities, including floor hockey, badminton, dance fever, pickleball, personal training and the indoor climbing wall.
