GHS
names Physical Education Students of the
Month for March

The
Physical Education Department at Goshen
Central High School has named its Physical
Education Students of the Month for March.
Students were nominated by their physical
education teachers to receive this honor.
Each student received a T-shirt.
“Physical education is a bio-social
phenomenon and is interested in both the
biological and social adjustment of people
with all that this involves in human
efficiency, health, happiness, and effective
living,” said Physical Education Teacher
Mike Turi.
The Students of the Month for March are
Conor Burnett, nominated by Physical
Education Teacher Mike Turi for his
participation in World of Jump Roping; Erin
Rafferty, nominated by Physical Education
Teacher Gus Lawson for her participation in
Wallyball; Edward “Mac” Rosiny, nominated by
Physical Education Teacher Kathryn Magid for
his participation in World of Jump Roping;
Joe Russo, nominated by Physical Education
Teacher Joanne Reiser for his participation
in badminton; and Laura Schwarz, nominated
by Physical Education Teacher Bob McIntee
for her participation in World of Jump
Roping.
