GHS
names Physical Education Students of the
Month for June

The
Physical Education Department at Goshen
Central High School has named its Physical
Education Students of the Month for June.
Students were nominated by their physical
education teachers to receive this honor.
Each student received a T-shirt.
“Great physical education programs influence
growth patterns in children and contribute
to the physiological health of adults,” said
Physical Education Teacher Mike Turi.
The Physical Education Students of the Month
for June are Evan Bogris, nominated by
Physical Education Teacher Kathryn Magid for
his participation in softball; Todd Danko,
nominated by Physical Education Teacher Mike
Turi for his participation in cricket;
Robert Dolney, nominated by Physical
Education Teacher Bob McIntee for his
participation in cricket; Peter Ferraro,
nominated by Physical Education Teacher
Joanne Reiser for his participation in
softball; and Carly Jung, nominated by
Physical Education Teacher Gus Lawson for
her participation in ultimate Frisbee.
