GHS
names Physical Education Students of the
Month for December

The
Physical Education Department at Goshen
Central High School has named its Physical
Education Students of the Month for
December.
Students were nominated by their physical
education teachers to receive this honor.
Each student received a T-shirt.
“We teach because we hope to influence not
only the present abilities of students, but
also their future behavior and
predispositions to continue to engage in our
subject matter of physical education,” said
Physical Education Teacher Mike Turi.
The Physical Education Students of the Month
for November are Kristen Dowdell, nominated
by Kathryn Magid for her participation in
basketball; Madeline Laskoski, nominated by
Gus Lawson for her participation in soccer;
Sara Laskoski, nominated by Robert McIntee
for her participation in soccer; Nicole
Ramber-Pihl, nominated by Mike Turi for her
participation in stunts and tumbling; and
Jessica Rubinstein, nominated by Joanne
Reiser.
