Ask the Superintendent - April 6, 2006
On September 10, 2005, the Board of Education and
the Central Office Administration held a Board
Workshop to discuss and set Board of Education Goals
for the 2005/06 school year. This represents a
continual effort on the part of the Board and the
administration to improve the educational climate in
our schools and to maintain an open dialogue with
residents of our district. During the regularly
scheduled meetings held on February 21st and April
3rd, the administration reported to the Board on the
progress made during the academic year towards the
established goals.
At last Monday’s Board meeting, Lorrie Borisewich
commended the Board of Education and the
administration, (which was greatly appreciated) on
the presentations and the efforts made to achieve
these goals. Based on her suggestion I am pleased to
offer to the community what we have accomplished.
The six goals are in bold and the bulleted items
represent the steps taken to achieve each goal.
